Wrapped on Shooting

We just got back from Washington DC and after watching the footage I can finally say that I’m wrapped on shooting my thesis film.

This might seem like I’m almost done with my film however documentaries don’t work like that. When making a documentary, you have to build the story in the editing room. Now that all the live action footage is shot, I have to write a sort-of script and work on planning my animation. On top of that, I also have years and years of childhood home videos to sort through and figure out how and if they fit in the story.

It’s going to be a long, rough journey. This end of shooting, is only the beginning.
