I just launched an online fundraiser on Indiegogo to help raise money for my film, ONCE AGAIN, which is a short documentary recalling the my own personal struggles with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, told through live action footage, home movies, and animation. The goal is $5,500 in 90 days which is both daunting and very tangible.

The 2011 OCD Animation Festival

The 2011 OCD Animation Festival took place Friday July 29, from 1:30pm – 3:30pm San Diego, CA at the 18th Annual International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Conference. The films were scouted and organized by John Spottswood Moore and the program was coordinated by Fred Penzel, PhD. The event went off with a hitch. The films played to a packed house.

18th Annual IOCDF Conference’s OCD Animation Festival

The 18th Annual International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Conference takes place in San Diego, CA this year from July 29 – 31. Since 1993, the Annual Conference has been the only national meeting focused solely on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and OC related disorders. The unique event allows people with OCD and their loved ones to experience the latest OCD information alongside the mental health professionals who care for them.

Over 1,000 attendees are expected to attend in San Diego, CA for this year’s conference. The conference will feature more than 100 presentations, workshops, and seminars as well as nearly two dozen support groups. The presenters include some of the most experienced and knowledgeable clinicians and researchers in the field, as well as people with OCD and family members who are willing to share their story.

OCD Showcase Update

Just Us Chickens

Erin Randall, filmmaker and friend, asked me to animate her titles for her MFA thesis film Just Us Chickens. Not only am I doing the titles in Adobe After Effects, I’m also animating a small scene in Adobe Flash at the end, before the end credits, where two chickens kiss.
